Sykes commenced a Measured Term Contract with Tower of London in 2007. The contract covers pre-planned and reactive maintenance and small works to both Tower of London and Banqueting House.

An on-site team delivers the on-going building fabric and plumbing maintenance required to keep this Grade I listed landmark in operation as well as projects of up to £50k against the PSA schedule. Sykes have an average presence of 10 employees on site at any time with the majority of repairs and maintenance self-delivered.

Additionally, a series of competitively tendered projects have been completed including a £100k refurbishment of the public toilets within Cradle Tower.

Given the high profile nature of the site as a tourist attraction, Sykes provide support to numerous public events taking place. In 2012, medals were awarded by Tower of London for their services during the Jubilee celebrations and Olympic Games.
